Victoria
Being offered a job in a brand-new city wasn’t something I was planning on.
Neither was meeting him at a random hotel bar that same night.
We shared a drink, flirted, and then one thing led to another.
We exchanged first names, and I escaped the next morning with a quick goodbye.
I never expected to see him again.
I especially never expected him to come face-to-face with him at my brother’s house.
As the new coach of the team.
Zane
I was the youngest coach in the NHL.
I had to focus on one thing and one thing only.
My job.
It’s the only thing I had time for.
Until I came face-to-face with the stranger I thought I would never see again.
She’s off-limits in every sense of the word.
Not just because she’s younger than me.
She’s the sister to my star player.

There’s something ridiculously addictive about Natasha Madison’s Only For series, and Only for Her might honestly be one of my favorites yet.
Victoria and Zane’s story pulls you in right away with that chance meeting—one drink at a hotel bar, instant chemistry, and a night that feels like it was meant to be forgotten. But months later, when Tori moves to a new city for a fresh start and walks into her brother’s house, only to come face-to-face with Zane again, everything changes. Because Zane isn’t just some guy from a one-night stand—he’s the youngest head coach in the league, and her brother’s boss.
From that moment on, the tension is constant. Zane is already under pressure trying to prove himself as a first-year coach, dealing with scrutiny, locker room dynamics, and resistance from players and staff who don’t fully trust him yet. Getting involved with his captain’s younger sister isn’t just messy—it could cost him everything he’s worked for. And he knows it.
“You are a temptation I don’t think I could stay away from.”
Tori, on the other hand, is building a life of her own in a new city, figuring out her place outside of her family while refusing to let anyone dictate her choices. She doesn’t see their connection as something to run from, but Zane’s hesitation, and his need to keep things separate, creates this ongoing push and pull that drives the entire story.
What makes this plot work so well is that the conflict never feels forced. Their relationship has real consequences. There are stolen moments, late-night conversations, and constant second-guessing about what crossing that line could mean, not just for Zane’s career, but for Tori’s relationship with her brother and the team as a whole.
I look down exhaling, my heart rate kicking up a million notches because I’m standing in front of her, and for the first time in I don’t know how long, all I want to do is jump off this fucking cliff with her.
And in the middle of all that? The chemistry never lets up.
I don’t think I could love Tori any more than I do. She completely steals this book. She is confident, sharp, unapologetic, and hilarious. Her humor isn’t just there for entertainment—it’s how she takes control of situations and keeps people on their toes. I was laughing constantly, never quite knowing what she was going to say next, and I loved every second of it.
Zane is the perfect contrast. Controlled, focused, and carrying the weight of his position, he’s used to keeping everything in line, until Tori completely throws him off balance. Watching him try to fight what he feels while clearly being all in for her adds so much emotional tension. When he finally stops holding back, it’s not halfway—he’s fully committed, and it shows.
“All I know is I’m done fighting this thing between us. I’m fucking done not being able to touch you, call you. Talk to you, kiss you. I’m done with it all.”
The age gap barely registers for me because they are so well matched. If anything, Tori brings lightness and perspective into Zane’s world, reminding him that there’s more to life than hockey, while he gives her someone steady without ever trying to change who she is.
Their banter is easily one of the best parts of the book. It’s quick, sharp, and never fades, even as their relationship deepens. That dynamic keeps everything feeling fresh, and it balances out the heavier moments perfectly.
“I put on panties, as a barrier.”
“Victoria, if I want in your pussy, I’ll get in your pussy.”
Between the hockey world, the team dynamics, the family tension, and the emotional stakes, this story has so much going on without ever feeling overwhelming. It’s equal parts fun, angsty, and heartfelt, and it absolutely delivers on every level.
