As a private flight attendant to the elite, she’s trained to keep things professional. Until him.

A last minute flight puts her working on Stetson Cole’s jet—a recluse Texas cattle rancher with calloused hands, an easy smile, and twenty years on her. One quick layover turns into stolen touches, tension filled kisses, and an unforgettable connection.

But love isn’t on Cove’s flight plan. When a family crisis forces her to accept her estranged father’s help, she’s stuck playing dutiful daughter and pretending to date his colleague’s son to seal a business deal.

The problem? She’s staying at the home of the one man she’s finding it difficult to resist. Her dad’s best friend, Stetson.
Resisting him was difficult at thirty thousand feet in the sky. On the ground? Nearly impossible.

But when secrets surface and lines start to blur, the Texas cowboy needs to decide if he’s willing to give up everything to make the Miami city girl his.

I went into Dear Stetson, I Want You fully prepared to side-eye the age gap. I’m talking arms crossed, skeptical, ready to judge.

That lasted… all of five chapters. Because somewhere between a private jet, stolen glances, and a slow, undeniable pull that felt way deeper than just attraction, I absolutely folded. No pride left. None.

Cove Davenport is living her best fast-paced, no-strings Miami life—glamorous, untethered, and emotionally guarded for very good reasons. But what I loved most about her is how layered she is. She’s self-aware, a little self-sabotaging, and yes, sometimes reckless, but never weak. She knows exactly who she is, even when she’s pushing boundaries she probably shouldn’t.

She doesn’t just survive what life throws at her—she challenges it. She talks back, stands her ground, and fully owns every choice she makes, even the messy ones. There’s this confidence in her femininity that’s impossible to ignore. She can be soft when it matters, sharp when she needs to be, and she knows exactly when to be both. And underneath all that strength? She’s tired. Carrying more than she should have to, for far too long.

And then there’s Stetson Cole.

A 50-year-old Texas rancher with calloused hands, quiet confidence, and the kind of presence that doesn’t demand attention, but owns every room anyway. He doesn’t chase loudly. He observes. He decides. And once he decides? Game over.

“You’re danger and desire wrapped in one. A lot like what I’d imagine dancing on the edge of a cliff to feel like.”

This man is the walking, breathing definition of if he wanted to, he would. And let me tell you—he WANTED TO.

Stetson is steady in a way that feels instinctual. Intentional. Protective without ever being overbearing. The kind of man who doesn’t just say things—he proves them. Over and over again. There’s something ridiculously attractive about the way he shows up for Cove without hesitation, like once he chooses her, there is no question about it.

And the acts of service? Top tier.
Husband energy across the board.

And can we talk about how hot they are together?? Because WOW.

“Do it. Disrespect me, Stet. I want it.”

The dynamic between them is everything. Stetson steps into that confident, in-control energy, and Cove chooses to meet him there. She never loses herself, instead she leans in, on her own terms, and that makes it ten times hotter. It’s not about power, it’s about trust. About chemistry. About two people who just get each other. Cove already carries this effortless, unapologetic sensuality, and Stetson? He matches it like a man who knows exactly what he’s doing. Calm, assured, experienced, the kind of presence that makes every moment feel intentional.

“I like you on your knees for me, Stet. Handing over the power looks good on you.”
“I never had the power, my love. It’s always been yours.”

And those hands… yeah.
Rough, worn, hard-earned hands that say everything before he even opens his mouth.

It’s that perfect balance of control and care, of heat and restraint, where the chemistry doesn’t just exist. It builds, simmers, and completely takes over.

“Did you forget what it’s like to be the woman I take? Because I won’t just take you. I’ll steal you for an eternity, and then some, ruining you for the rest of your days. There won’t be a you without me. Cove and Stetson. Until hell takes over.”

And Cove? Oh, she makes him earn it.

Every inch of trust.
Every moment of vulnerability.
Every crack in those walls she’s built to survive.

The push and pull between them? Addictive.
The tension? Constant.
The yearning? Off the charts.

And when you throw in forced proximity, fake dating chaos, and dad’s best friend energy? I was DONE.

But underneath all that heat is something deeper, something really grounding. Cove’s relationship with her mom brought such a raw, emotional layer to the story. It added weight, purpose, and a reminder that love doesn’t just exist in romance, it exists in sacrifice, resilience, and showing up when it matters most.

And Stetson loving her through all of that? Yeah, that did something to me.

By the time everything comes together, when the tension settles into something steady, real, and completely earned, it just feels right. Like this wasn’t just about falling in love, it was about being chosen in a way that’s solid, unwavering, and all-consuming in the best way.

“We were made to defy the odds stacked against us.”

I didn’t expect to love this as much as I did, but here I am, emotionally attached, slightly unwell, and already thinking about a reread.

And Stetson Cole?

Yeah, I want him too. He had no business being this hot.
