Book Recommendations, the Week of July 21st, 2025

Here are three recommended reads for the week, from authors new to me and maybe, new to you too.

One minute I’m living a peaceful life at Silver Saddle Ranch and the next, Jensen, my brother’s best friend, returns to town for the summer with his five-year-old son and moves into my guest rooms. Not only are we sharing space, but I’ve agreed to be Caleb’s nanny.

The problem? Jensen’s little boy quickly wins my heart, and his dad isn’t far behind with his big-city charm.

Between a steamy Ferris wheel ride and romantic late-night chats on the porch swing overlooking the Montana skyline, my heart quickly becomes his.

I want to be the place where Jensen lays his hat, but I’m not sure he’s looking to trade his custom Italian suit for dirty cowboy boots.

What happens when the summer’s over, and our time is up…

I’m the arrogant one. She’s the woman who could tame me. What I don’t expect is to fall in love.

The minute I hear her laugh, I smile. The second my fingers touch hers, I never want to let them go. When my eyes take her in, I know …

Sadie Spencer is meant to be mine.

She’s everything I never knew I wanted.
Her curves put me in a trance. Her body has me in a choke hold. She’s an addiction, and I can’t keep my hands to myself.

It’s the sexiest one-night stand I’ve ever had.

At daybreak, the bed is cold, and Sadie is gone. And for the first time in my life, the scorching chemistry and carnal memories leave me wanting more.

When I see her again, I’m shocked.
Consumed.
Enthralled.
Obsessed.

But she has secrets in her eyes.
They match the ones in mine.

That’s the wedge between us.

Together, we’ve weaved this web of lies, and when the truth comes out … it might break us.

A girl with nothing. A guy with everything to lose and one offer that changes everything.

Savannah Barnett thinks she’s mastered the art of invisibility. Walking fast, talking soft and running out of our study classes so fast that it should be obvious for guys like me to keep their distance.

Spoiler Alert: I’ve been staring like a lovesick idiot since day one.

I should focus on hockey. I’ve got a pro contract on the line and a team who need me, but I can’t stop watching her. Can’t stop wanting her. And when I find out she’s being taken advantage of? Game over.

She says she doesn’t need saving, but I still offer her a way out… with my last name.
A fake marriage. A real mess. And a hundred reasons why I should stay away, but I’m done pretending.

This isn’t just a love story.
It’s a fight.
And I don’t lose.
