Chase
As the second youngest Ravage brother, I’ve spent my entire adult life rectifying our tainted family name and keeping my urges behind closed doors.
Until my best friend’s little sister shows up at The Hunt ready to play, and I lose control.
I tell myself it’s just a taste.
Except, with her, I should’ve known a single taste wouldn’t be enough.
And then the good girl I’ve known most of my life drops to her knees.
For me.
From that moment on, I knew she would only ever be one thing.
Mine.

*HOT* This is my first dive in the BDSM realm, and while I had very little expectation when I started reading this book, by the end I was absolutely enamored, entranced, and begging for more. You see, the more I read, the more adventurous I become.

Have I always been a romance novel reader? Since I could remember. In those days, I checked out 15 Harlequin romance novels from the public library and read them during summer break before returning them, starting the cycle over at least four to five times over the three-month span. I was never the pretty friend, always the chubby one that lacked self-confidence and faded into the background. Reading romance novels was my escape and the relationships were something I never thought I could be or have. Fast forward to today, where I am madly in love with my husband of almost 10 years, and while I am still lack self-confidence outwardly, at home, I am protected, safe, loved and made to feel like I deserve the world. Because of the very healthy relationship I share with my husband, I’ve allowed myself to branch out into books that push the boundaries of what I’ve deemed safe in the past.

Enter, Amanda Richardson and her Ravaged Castle books series.

I would highly recommend this book if you are new to the BDSM trope. You’ll feel safe and comfortable, but intrigued and drawn closer to the edge of your seat the more you read. Chase Ravage is going to be the one to bring you to your knees.

“Your first time should be with someone who will revere you… Someone who will make your toes curl and your eyes roll so far back in your head that you’ll see white. …Someone who will treat you like a seven‑course meal.”

Juliet Parker, a driven PhD student, has always been the “good girl.” She meticulously plans her life, making even her romantic life follow pros and cons lists. But what she desires, and what she receives from her fiancé are vastly different. There is no passion. There are no sparks. Upending her life, she breaks off her engagement and begins a journey of self-discovery that leads her back to her brother’s best friend and a man who has refused her once before, billionaire Chase Ravage.

Chase, the second-youngest Ravage brother, is known for his control and charisma, and has carried unspoken feelings for Juliet since she once asked him to take her virginity at 18 (and he refused). He has spent his adult life trying to restore his family’s reputation while living a “secret” life in primal play at Ravage Castle. Seeing Juliet again after denying her many years ago unleashes a dark, possessive desire. She is his one and only weakness.

Their journey together is intense and highly sensual. Juliet’s goal to reclaim her sexuality must be done through a consensual power exchange, one in which Chase cannot deny. He must face his own battles with emotional intimacy, control and vulnerability before they can build a trust that challenges them both.

“I’m suddenly insatiable. Like I’ve given myself permission to have what I’ve always craved the most.”

Prey Tell is a dark, steamy, emotionally intense romance featuring a battle of wills between a cautious, intelligent heroine and a commanding, deeply drawn alpha male. It skillfully combines sensual BDSM dynamics with emotional vulnerability, memory, and redemption.
